Masses are held daily in the seminary chapel at 7:00 AM (Monday – Friday) and on Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM. There are no weekend Masses.
Confessions are heard daily from 9:00 AM - 12 Noon & 3:00 - 6:00 PM.
Office hours are Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM, evenings and weekends by appointment.
Every Wednesday evening is held the Novena to St. Joseph & St. Joseph Marello with a Mass at 7:00 PM. Novena prayers follow the Mass with a blessing of the first-class relic of St. Joseph Marello, Founder of the Oblates of Saint Joseph Congregation.

The Josephite-Marellian Laity (formerly known as the “Oblate Cooperators”) will hold their first meeting of the new social year this Wednesday, September 1, following the 7:00 pm Novena to St. Joseph & St. Joseph Marello. This is an opportune time for new members to join this organization that assists the Oblate Fathers in their spiritual and material works. Copies of the new Constitutions and By-Laws will be distributed to all members at this meeting.
Monthly Holy Hour for Vocations will be held this Thursday, September 2, starting at 7:00 pm. All are invited to offer one hour before the Eucharistic Lord praying for an increase of vocations to the priesthood and religious life, especially to the Oblates of St. Joseph and in the Diocese of Scranton.
Blue Army Monthly Prayer Vigil to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be held this coming First Friday, September 3, starting with confessions at 8:00 pm (immediately following the Mass of the Labor Day Triduum). Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 pm followed by devotions to the Blessed Mother. All are welcome to participate.
Annual Labor Day Triduum honoring St. Joseph the Worker will be held at the Oblates of St. Joseph Seminary Chapel, Route 315, Laflin on Labor Day weekend (September 3, 4 ,5) with Masses each evening at 7:00 pm. Confessions and recitation of the rosary precede each Mass. Preaching this year’s Triduum will be seminary rector, Father Paul McDonnell, OSJ. Following Mass, prayers will be offered for all workers, the unemployed and blessings for a new school year. On Labor Day morning (Sept. 6), there will be a special concelebrated Mass at 10:30 am in the chapel with Most Reverend James C. Timlin, D.D., Bishop Emeritus of Scranton, serving as principal celebrant and homilist. The Oblate Fathers will concelebrate and bread will be blessed and distributed at the conclusion of the Mass as a symbol of the fruit of our labor. All are invited to participate in the Triduum and Feast honoring St. Joseph the Worker. For more information, call the seminary office at 654-7542.
A pilgrimage to St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal, Canada is being organized by the Oblates of St. Joseph Lay Cooperator Society from October 8 – 11 (Columbus Day weekend). Cost is $ 480.00 per person based on double occupancy, includes round trip Deluxe Motor Coach transportation via Martz Trailways from Pittston to Montreal, 3 nights hotel accommodation at the Holiday Inn Select in downtown Montreal, full hot breakfast buffet every morning, a guided bus tour of Montreal and spiritual devotions & Masses at the Oratory each day.
