March for Life 2010!The members of the Pittston Catholic Youth Group recently participated in the 2010 March for Life in Washington, D.C. The trip began with Holy Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, which was celebrated by the bishop of Charlotte, NC. After that, we joined the hundreds of thousands of other pro-life advocates in a march past the US Capitol Building to the Supreme Court. The opportunity to unite with so many others for such an important cause was certainly a moment worth cherishing. |
